The transfer of the information from the reservation form to the server is done over a high-grade encrypted connection (SSL) and saved and stored securely. Your credit card information is stored encrypted with own encryption algorithm and only accessible to the personnel which performs the credit charge process.
Discovery Mexico works as an intermediate agent between you and the service providers (suppliers) listed on the website. By submitting a reservation request you are aware that we have to provide part of the data to the supplier in question. We provide to the supplier the following data: First name, last name, arrival date, departure date, room occupancy and selected room and meal plans.
If you pay the requested services by credit cards we have to provide your payment details to the credit card clearance company.
Discovery Mexico keeps your personal data and will use it for the following purpose:
- We will send you a short survey immediately after having consumed the requested service, providing you with the possibility to comment about our reservation service.
- Two weeks after having consumed the service we will provide you by email an access to a more elaborate survey which allows you to provide feedback about the supplier.
- 3 Months after having consumed the reserved service you will obtain a final email as a reminder to consider Discovery Mexico for your next trip.
After this, no further email will be sent.
You can request the deletion of your personal data 30(thirty) days after having consumed the reserved service. In this case, first name, last name and email address will be deleted. Such a request must be done by email or phone at +52 (998) 892 0688.
