The hotel is nestled on a beautiful beach in one of the many small bays in the Xpu-Ha area of the Riviera Maya. The ancient Mayan fortress city of Tulum is less than half an hour south by car, and Playa del Carmen with its ferry terminal for Cozumel is 15 minutes north.
The Cancun airport is 45 minutes away.

With its 224 standard rooms, 36 terraced junior suites and connecting rooms the Copacabana offers accommodation options for everyone. All are equipped with a king-size or 2 double beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, minibar, safe, and hairdryer. Special handicap adapted and non-smoking rooms are available with prior reservation.

The Copacabana Beach Resort offers numerous activities and quality facilities that include 4 excellent restaurants and three bars. It has 2 swimming pools, a well-equipped gym, and four Jacuzzis; guests may use kayaks, sailboats, windsurf boards, paddleboats and snorkeling equipment free of charge. There is also a special activities program for children between the ages of 4 to 12.
