Situated on the southern end of the Riviera Maya, the Akumal Beach Resort is 10 minutes from the Puerto Aventuras Golf Club and a short distance from famous Xel-Ha nature park.
The archaeological ruins of Tulum are 20 minute drive south and travel time to the Cancun airport is one hour and 20 minutes from the hotel.

The Snack Bar serves light meals from 11 AM until 6 PM; and the Azteca Mexican Restaurant is open for dinner with regional specialties. La Trattoria, opens from 7:30 PM until 9:30 PM with a fine menu of Italian delicacies.
