The resort is located on Mismaloya Bay in Puerto Vallarta´s southern hotel zone area.
The airport is 35 minutes away and it is a 15 minute cab ride to downtown.

All their rooms are of Superior quality and feature a balcony with ocean view, sitting room with sofa bed, king-size bed, air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, dataport, minibar, fully equipped kitchen (stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender and toaster) iron and ironing board, hairdryer.

Barcelo Premium La Jolla de Mismaloya offers five restaurants, three bars and room service. Its sports facilities include tennis and volleyball courts as well as 4 swimming pools. Children aged 5 to 11 will have a great time in their own Kid´s Club. Their Water Activities Center offers snorkeling and scuba diving. Bicycles are also available for exploring the area. Guests have use of the gym and spa which offers optional massages and health treatments. On Tuesday evenings the hotel puts on a beach party and Saturday is Mexican Fiesta night.
Lobby services include a car rental and travel agency, gift shop and currency exchange. The hotel also has a games room and facilities for weddings or business meetings. Babysitting service, medical attention, safety deposit boxes and lobby service can be arranged through the front desk or concierge.

For great international and continental cuisine try their El Patio restaurant, or enjoy excellent Mexican specialties at La Cantina Restaurant; the Snack Bar in front of the ocean offers excellent snacks, and Los Arcos Grill specializes in fresh seafood. Barcelo Premium La Jolla de Mismaloya all-inclusive plan provides every meal and snacks in the El Patio, La Cantina. Snack Bar, Don Quijote and Los Arcos Grill restaurants; a selected menu of alcoholic beverages, organized recreational activities for adults and children; nightly in-house entertainment, return transportation from the airport. It does not include lobster, shrimp, bottled water or tequila tasting, electronic games or motorized water sports.
