The hotel is on the beach in the trendy Playacar district of Playa del Carmen, gateway to the Riviera Maya, close to golf courses, theme parks, and archaeological ruins.

The resort's 230 rooms are housed in small three floor buildings scattered throughout a vast tropical garden and interconnected by a network of paths. Each room is decorated in colonial style and features a balcony. They are equipped with a king-size bed or two doubles, A/C, satellite TV, telephone, voicemail, minibar, safe, and full bathroom with hairdryer. Additional beds and cribs, handicapped facilities, connecting rooms and non-smoking suites are available.

The resort offers a variety of activities and services that includes 3 bars, 3 restaurants and a disco. Guests have access to the tennis courts, volleyball games bicycles and horseback riding. The swimming pool is great for water activities but the best suntanning is on the beach with its comfortable loungers and parasols. The hotel´s Sports Center provides kayaks, sailboats, windsurfs as well as optional deep sea fishing and diving excursions. The children 4-12 will enjoy activities organized especially for them at the Kids Club. Stay in shape at the gym or pamper yourself at the hotel´s spa with its Jacuzzi, massages, and beauty salon.
