The Occidental Allegro Resort Playacar is right on the beach in the Playacar area of the Riviera Maya, next door to a prestigious golf club and the charming seaside town of Playa del Carmen.
Traveling time from Cancun airport is approximately 45 minutes, the shops, restaurants and bars of Playa del Carmen's Fifth Avenue are just five minutes away by taxi.

The Occidental Allegro Resort Playacar hotel contains 300 Superior Quality class rooms. Each is equipped with a king-size bed or two doubles, A/C, ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone, coffeemaker, safe, iron and ironing board. Full bathrooms contain a telephone type shower and a hairdryer. Connecting rooms, cribs and non-smoking suites are subject to availability.

Its excellent facilities are anchored by four restaurants, an equal number of bars, a disco and room service. There are tennis and volleyball courts, a soccer field, bicycle paths and of course a world caliber golf course next door. Young children will have a fun time at the hotel's Kids Club all day long. Their meeting facilities can accommodate up to 220 people for a banquet or small convention. The resort offers a good choice of culinary options in its 4 restaurants : the Topaz is open from 7 to 10:30 PM, it is the hotel's main restaurant serving buffet style meals and hosting theme nights during the week; La Pizzeria, of course offers excellent pizzas as well as snacks around the pool, while La Troje serves up a variety of Mexican delicacies in a party atmosphere. Guests can spend an enchanted evening dining on Italian food at the Caruso.

Their all-inclusive plan offers breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style or a la carte, it includes snacks, a menu of selected alcoholic beverages, use of the tennis courts and participation in all in-house sporting and recreational activities; kids club for children 4 to 12, evening cabaret style entertainment, and use of the facilities at other Occidental hotels in the area; hotel taxes and tips are also included.
