Posada del Mar is a small hotel Caribbean style built in a lush tropical setting. Features a pool a restaurant bar and landscaped grounds providing the comfort and convenience you need to fully enjoy your holiday. There is a colonial style aqueduct that cascades into the swimming pool and when our guests are not exploring the island this is often where they like to relax.
The hotel will soon undertake the construction of a new swimming pool Palapa Bar (Romi s Bar) and 50 new guestrooms during the coming months. This project can present potential inconveniences to guests but Posada del Mar will do all possible to minimize the effect of these activities.

Posada del Mar is in the heart of downtown Isla Mujeres, just a few steps from cozy local restaurants, shops and the nightlife.
The municipal dock is just four streets away, the ferry will get you to Cancun in 20 minutes, and traveling time from the mainland terminal to the airport is 30 minutes.

The spacious rooms in their new wing all have balconies with relaxing views on the hotel´s tropical gardens. All Posada del Mar rooms offer a king-size bed or twin doubles, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV and telephone.

Posada del Mar hotel offers the following facilities and services: guest parking, restaurants, bar, room service, gift shop, travel agency, currency exchange counter, fax service, book exchange and a billiard table.
It also has a play area for children, colonial style swimming pool with its own aqueduct and a cascade. Or, you can lie on the sandy beach which is a right across the street and work on your tan. The nearby beach club offers tours and water sports equipment rental so that you can enjoy all the wonders of this beautiful Caribbean region and the turquoise waters of Isla Mujeres Bay. Therapeutic massage service is also available.
Additionally, Posada del Mar offers babysitting service, a front desk safety deposit box and laundry.

Their restaurant Pinguinos is open from 7 AM until 11 PM with international cuisine and friendly service.
