Conveniently located at the southern point of Cancun´s hotel zone not far from the El Rey archeological site, golf courses and water parks.
It is 10 minutes from Cancun international and about 25 minutes from downtown. Getting to the convention center, restaurant and entertainment district takes about 15 minutes by taxi.

Comfortable junior suites offer ocean views, most have a balcony, and all have air conditioning, a desk, satellite TV, clock radio, direct dial telephone, minibar, coffee maker, purified water, alcoholic beverages, room safe, bathrobes and hairdryer.

The Sun Palace offers guests a choice of four restaurants and two bars. Inside the hotel there is a gift shop, clothing boutique, ATM machine, currency exchange, car rental and travel agency. Other services include a meeting salon for up to 350 people and Internet service.
Sports facilities include a gym and tennis courts, kayaks and sailboats. Guests can also go snorkeling and take introductory scuba diving classes in the hotel’s swimming pool. Golfers are sure to love the courses available to them at the nearby Moon Palace and the Playacar Palace in Playa del Carmen.
The beach is equipped with parasols and loungers from which you can tan and enjoy the sun or admire the view. Three swimming pools, a Jacuzzi provide more fun options along with relaxing massages or professional treatments from the spa.
Other convenient amenities include a concierge, 24-hour room service, babysitters plus laundry.

The choice of restaurants is fantastic: the Aurora, located near the beach has several sittings from 6:30 AM until 10:30 PM, offering an international buffet and a la carte dinner; Zarabanda is open between 11 AM and 5 PM serving tacos, snacks and buffet in a relaxed atmosphere; elegantly styled Salvatore is open from 6 PM until 10:30 PM with delicious Italian cuisine, live music and an ocean view; Fulfill your Mediterranean food fantasies at Le Bistro for dinner. Snacks and sandwiches are available all night from the lobby bar.

The All-inclusive Plan provides meals, snacks and alcoholic beverages throughout your stay; organized in-house sports and entertainment program; nonmotorized aquatic activities at the Sun Palace and Moon Palace Resorts, which includes sailboats, surfboards, kayaks, paddleboats, snorkeling equipment and introductory scuba diving class (motorized sports, deep sea fishing scuba diving and snorkeling tours are extra); theme parties every night with live music at all the Palace resorts. Additionally, three to four night stays include a free tour as a bonus; stays of five nights or more include two tours with options to Chichen-Itza, Isla Mujeres, Ek Balam/Valladolid, Coba, and Tulum/Xpu Ha.
