Solymar, Cancun

Located at the southern tip of the hotel zone, the Solymar Beach Resort offers easy access by bus or taxi to downtown Cancun and is ten minutes away from the airport. There is a golf course nearby and some interesting local Mayan ruins within walking distance on the edge of the lagoon.
The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the airport.

The hotel´s 200 comfortable ocean view rooms are decorated in a casual beach style. All of them have a balcony and are equipped with a king-size bed or two doubles, A/C, ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe and hairdryer. Cribs are available.

The Solymar Resort features one restaurant and 4 bars, tennis and volleyball courts, a swimming pool for adults and one for children. Wave runners and kayaks are available for rent at the hotel as well as snorkeling, diving and deep sea fishing tours. The hotel also has a gift and tobacco shop, travel agency, car rental and currency exchange. Additionally the hotel has a concierge, babysitters, laundry service, and a book exchange.

The La Isla restaurant is open from 7 AM to 11 PM offering buffet breakfast and an international menu for lunch and dinner. The El Isleño bar next to the pool is open from 7 AM to 11 PM, from 9 AM to 5 PM enjoy grilled specialties at Merlin´s Magic on the beach or just relax sipping exotic drinks at the Beach Bar & Grill. La Vista lobby bar is open from 6 PM to 1 AM.

The Solymar Beach Resort's all-inclusive plan offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks as well as a selected menu of alcoholic beverages; activities such as tennis, volleyball, bingo, karaoke, and organized entertainment activities. The meal plan does not include steaks, shrimp or lobster which are nonetheless available for a small additional charge.
