Declared by UNESCO in 1993 "Cultural Treasure of Humanity", picturesque Zacatecas has been since pre-Hispanic time the biggest silver producer in Mexico. Zacatecas offers ancient architectural and artistic monuments within a labyrinthine layout. The style Cathedral is one of many examples but an amazing art display is shown at Pedro Coronel Museum. Besides, the Zacatecan Silver Center, a workshop and a school, brings craftsmen together to produce chains, earrings, and bracelets.
