Coral Negro, Handicraft Market in Cancun

At Coral Negro you will find all sorts of Mexican handicrafts such as traditional sombreros and outfits, Mexican candies, T-shirts, toys for children and myriads of articles from all over Mexico. Also available there are temporary tattoo stands, some jewelries and the famous hair braiders, for the ones interested in the Bo Derek look.

Coral Negro is located in the heart of the Hotel Zone, on Blvd. Kukulcan Km. 9. If you are staying in a hotel close to Punta Cancun in the Hotel Zone, you can easily walk along the avenue to reach it. There are many bus stops and taxi stands around the market in case you don´t want to walk around. As a quick reference, Coral Negro market is located close to Cancun's Convention Center, in the area known as Party Center.

In this market it is mandatory bargain, you wouldn't be in Mexico if you were not welcomed to bargain. It is even expected. The market is open everyday and the area is very safe.
