Nuevo Laredo Cultural Center is a space for concerts, theater plays, and dance performances among other cultural and artistic activities. Soon, more theater activities including experimental theater are thought to be included in its programs. The main festivities in the city take place during the first part of September featuring commercial, industrial, and cattle exhibitions.
