To be successfully away from the crowded traditional tourist spots that represent Cancun as well as Playa del Carmen or even Puerto Morelos, Punta Bete offers a secluded destination with amazing beaches, tranquil waters, and beautiful bungalows. Today there is a small restaurant with reasonable prices and excellent Mexican treats as well as unbelievable fish; and recently, a nice resort has open its doors. However, you can get a place to camp just for 5 dollars. Punta Bete is a great place to practice snorkel.
