Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos

Cabo San Lucas is located in the southeast point of the Baja California Peninsula, 26 miles southwest of its sister city San Jose del Cabo. A four lane 32 km. or 20 mile highway links San Jose del Cabo with Cabo San Lucas passing through impressive tourist complexes, spectacular golf courses, amazing hotels, and residential and condo zones. The international airport is about 40 minutes driving from Cabo San Lucas. Cabo San Lucas Bay is where the Sea of Cortes and the Pacific Ocean meet; this attraction, together with the world-famous rock arch, results in a gorgeous location you should visit.

Cabo San Lucas is one of the fastest growing tourist developments in Mexico. Surrounded by palms, rock formations, and golden waters, Cabo San Lucas offers spectacular sport fishing in the Sea of Cortes as well as many other on and off the water activities.

Cabo San Lucas is located in southeast point of the Baja California Peninsula. A 32 km. or 20 miles long highway links San Jose del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas passing through impressive tourist complexes, spectacular golf courses, Grand Tourism hotels, and residential and condo zones.

At dawn, Cabo San Lucas starts the day with more than 350 boat docks. Hundreds of fishermen hurry in search of the very valuable fishes like Marlin, Tuna, Dorado, or Porgy.

Probably, the best beach to swim with a tranquil wave pace is El Medano where both tourists and "sanluqueños" enjoy alike. Several different water sports and activities can be perform here. The options range from banana or kayak riding to diving or taking a crystal-bottom boat to watch the sealife, including sea lions and seals. The famous rock arch and "Playa del Amor" (Beach of Love), where the Sea of Cortes and the Pacific Ocean meet, are two compulsory visits in Cabo San Lucas.

By sunset, romantic walking can be taken on desert beaches or around the bay where bars like Pez Gato, Sunrider, Oceanus, or Barco Pirata ought to be visited.

Undoubtedly, Cabo San Lucas is the heart of nightlife in Los Cabos. Its exciting movement begins before sunset by shopping at spectacular Puerto Paraiso Mall. A great pleasure is just to walk by the Marina and to enjoy a drink at Margaritaville or at Nowhere Bar. If dancing is the choice, Squid Roe, Cabo Wabo, or Giggling Marlin are the options. However, Jazz or Salsa lovers will find at Sancho Panza or at Spicy their right spot.

Cabo San Lucas could be the paradise for extreme sports and adventures. Speed lovers can feel the heat on the dunes that surround Faro Viejo (Old Lighthouse) by driving an Off Road race car. Besides, climbing steep hills or parachute jumping can be regarded as options.

Cabo San Lucas, in the extreme south point of the Baja Peninsula, offers a paradise for sport fishing and countless on and off the water activities. Astonishing landscapes and ocean views as well as natural spectacles, like the gathering of gray whales in December, have made of Cabo San Lucas a meeting point for both tourist cruises and international investors.
