| Located in the southwest part of Guadalajara Metropolitan area, Tlaquepaque is a suburb that tourists should not miss when visiting this city. Tlaquepaque is a place where excellent bargains can be obtained regarding handmade goods, furniture, fine crystal objects, or many other products of the cultural expression of this region. North of Tlaquepaque are the Park "Mirador", the Guadalajara Zoo, and the Planetarium, whereas south is situated the Miguel Hidalgo Airport and Las Pintas dam. East of Tlaquepaque is Tonala and the exit to Zapotlanejo, whereas west of Tlaquepaque are Colon Avenue, Lopez Mateos Avenue, and downtown Guadalajara. |
