The Teran Airport is only 5 miles from Tuxtla Gutierez. Taxis can be taken from there to any point in the city. Regional bus lines connect Tuxtla Gutierez to different cities such as Villahermosa, Oaxaca, Cancun, and Campeche. On a daily basis, there are bus lines from and to Mexico city.
