Puerto Juarez is located in the Yucatan Peninsula, only 2 km north of Cancun, on the road to Punta Sam. Puerto Juarez faces the Caribbean Sea and it offers an alternative to crowded beaches. Besides, from this point departs the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Puerto Juarez offers very good hotels and restaurants to visitors who like peaceful beaches and extremely tranquil ambiance, away from Cancun Hotel Zone.

Juarez, where excellent seafood can be tasted. Some people say that the main reason for Puerto Juarez to exist is to be a departing point for the ferry to Isla Mujeres.
That might be true. Nevertheless, Puerto Juarez has nice beaches and beautiful ocean views that can be enjoyed. Ferries to Isla Mujeres depart every 30 minutes from 6:30 am to 8.30 pm. Return ferries from Isla Mujeres to Puerto Juarez depart on the hour and half-hour from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
If you are at the Hotel Zone and want to travel to Isla Mujeres, there is another ferry departure from Puerto Cancun, located on Kukulcan Boulevard where the tall observation tower is. | |
