Cancun - East Beach, Cancun

East Beach is the third section of Cancun’s Hotel Zone. This beautiful beach is where you will find most of the luxurious and all inclusive hotels. This section starts by Km 9.5 and it runs until Km 21 of Blvd Kukulcan. It is a long stretch of beach that starts at Punta Cancun and goes south towards the end of Cancun´s Hotel Zone. Plenty of attractions are found around this area, including shopping centers, marinas, and many great restaurants.

To get by in the Hotel Zone, simply step in any bus or taxi as they are all very familiar with the Hotel Zone and they will drive you straight to the door of the place you are looking for. If you enjoy walking remember to use a cap and comfortable shoes and to bring along some water.

Along the hotel zone East Beach you will find plenty of hotels, marinas, restaurants, nightclubs and even a Mayan ruins site. This part of the hotel zone boosts some of the most exclusive malls in the country such as Plaza La Isla and Plaza Kukulcan, where you will find dozens of well known clothing, jewelry and entertainment brands.

For tourists who like archaeological zones, El Rey, which is small site located in Cancun, is an interesting site to visit. it is known as the Kinich Ahau Group after a carved stone human head found there. This Post-Classic site is made up of two plazas, buildings, temples, and mural paintings.

You can’t miss visiting the entire hotel zone to enjoy your vacations to the fullest.

Buses are the easiest and cheapest mean to move around the hotel zone. It stretches along the main boulevard from downtown to the airport. You can´t get lost. People is very friendly and helpful in any case.
