La Escollera, Zihuatanejo

La Escollera Restaurant in Zihuatanejo offers both regional and international cuisine and it is served by professionals who follow the most basic hygienic norms in food preparation. Besides, it offers a spectacular view of the Zihuatanejo Bay.

 - CR -

Built at a medium height on La Ropa Beach hill, La Escollera allows you to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere under the stars with a wonderful view of the whole bay and the town of Zihuatanejo.

The food is also great and some of the Chef's suggestions include dishes such as Mar y Tierra (a delightful combination of steak and lobster prepared with fine herbs and natural butter or garlic with rice), Shrimp with bittersweet tamarind sauce, Dorado Steak with two sauces (peanut and spinach), Crab salad in half avocado (crab from the Atlantic Ocean with mayonnaise), and Tuna carpaccio (fine slices of fresh tuna).

La Escollera Restaurant is located in La Ropa Beach. Its address is Ave. Escenica a las Gatas, Lote 26-A, Colonia La Ropa. The host is Manuel Olvera and he will serve you personally. From Ixtapa, you can get to the restaurant by local bus or by taxi.

La Escollera Restaurant opens at noon. Visitors can enjoy the infinity pool until 18:00 hours. Dinner starts at 18:00 and ends at 23:00 hrs.
