La Placita, Cancun

The restaurant offers a nice setting of traditional Mexican decoration and colors with large windows above the lagoon. We suggest you to ask for a table on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful view from here. The sunsets are amazing.
Food is traditional Mexican and includes delicious "arrachera", tasty "guacamole", great "tacos" and some of the best "margaritas" in town. For the meat lovers, they serve juicy steaks grilled directly on charcoal. If you wish to taste their fresh seafood, give a try to their "ceviche", made from fresh shrimp and cooked in lemon juice.
The service is irreproachable, as the waiters are more than attentive to your every need. You will probably have the owner visiting your table as she is always present to grant you the best experience.

Located along the hotel zone main avenue, only 3 minutes from Plaza Kukulcan mall, La Placita is built over the lagoon. You can get there easily by bus, there is a stop few meters away. You can also get there by taxi from any hotel, simply asking for La Placita. If you stay in a hotel close to Plaza Kukulcan, we suggest you to take a short walk to the restaurant, and enjoy the view of the lagoon.

There is another restaurant La Placita (owned by the same family) which operates in downtown Cancun, on Yaxchilan Avenue.
