La Habichuela restaurant offers you a romantic evening with some of the finest Mexican dishes combining meats and seafood under the stars of the Caribbean sky.

Famous Cocobichuela is the traditional dish to order at La Habichuela, it consists of chunks of lobster and shrimp cooked in curry sauce Served in a coconut shell with rice and garnished with tropical fruits. The restaurant features one dining room filled with prints and art objects and a large garden romantically decorated with sculptures, native trees and plants, and candles.

La Habichuela is located in downtown Cancun, on one corner of "Las Palapas" park, behind Tulum Avenue, the main street in Cancun downtown. The restaurant is well know by locals, and is just 20 minutes taxi ride from the major resorts in Cancun Hotel Zone.

La Habichuela is the world's first restaurant to have been certified ISO 9002:1994, it received the Dirona Award for Distinguished Restaurants of North America, as well as the best restaurant in a tourist destination in Mexico in 1997. This restaurant is unique and you can't miss the opportunity to enjoy a great meal at La Habichuela.
