As its name says, you can expect to taste a large collection of Tequila, more than 70. You will be relaxing under a typical thatched roof, with soft lights and good Rock music, in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The ocean is one block away, what else can you ask for?
The place features a large bar, with a couple of tables and chairs on the street. The rest is under a "palapa" roof (thatched) and a large tree in the middle of the building. If you are interested in tasting the real Mexican flavor, don't miss this place. It's a unique chance to try that much tequila in a single night. Tequila Barrel is located on the 5th. Avenue between Street 10 and 12. You can't miss it. The Tequila Barrel shares its terrace with "No Name Bar", a small sports bar operated by the same people. The bar opens at 8:00 pm until 2:00 am 7 days a week. There's no cover. No open bar available. There's no need to take a taxi as it is just a few blocks from the major hotels and 10 minutes from Playacar entrance. | |
