Ajua is a "palapa" (thatched roof typical to the region) style bar. The lights are soft to offer a casual ambiance to spend a great time. You will receive a VIP treatment from the waiters every time you visit this place. The live band starts playing at around 10:00pm and the ambiance is set on fire around this time. You can expect a crowd on weekends. Don't miss the waiters show since it is one of the best ever.
This is the right place to get to discover or enjoy Salsa, Cumbia and Latin music in general with a live band. They also offer great choices of tequilas and beers.
Ajua is located one street from the bus station, 2 blocks from the dock on Street 4. Just ask anybody living in Playa, they all know where Ajua is. There is no need to take a taxi or bus, it's just a few blocks from the major hotels. The bar is open from noon until 2:00 am everyday. At the moment they do not offer All You Can Drink.
