It is one of the most important reef in the second largest coral reef in the world, which lays from Contoy island until the Honduras Golf in Central America. You can visit the reef any tine during the year, as the transparency and the water temperature are year round perfect .

There are plenty of spots to dive, from Chankanab until the Sharks Caves. Each experience is unique, as you will be able to watch coral, sponge, thousands of colorful tropical fishes, turtles, lobsters, crabs, manta ray and a lot more species.

There are various tours in Cozumel for diving. There are some for beginners, others for advanced divers, and you can also get your diver certification in Cozumel. Also there is a night diving experience with is pretty unique. You should give it a try during your vacation in Cozumel.

From Cancun or any place in the Riviera Maya, you can book a tour to go diving in Cozumel. Most of the travel agencies are selling them, and transportation is almost always included. If you prefer going by yourself, you can reach Cozumel by ferry from Playa del Carmen and once on the island, look around for all the marinas which offer those wonderful tours.
