Iberostar Quetzal, Playa del Carmen

The Iberostar Quetzal is in a very posh area of the seaside resort Playa del Carmen, with shady cobblestone streets, cooled by ocean breezes and buffered by an 18-hole golf course. Just a short distance away lies 5th Avenue with its many shops, restaurants nightclubs and bars.

The resort is 30 minutes from the Cancun international airport, forty-five minutes from downtown Cancun and 45 minutes from the ancient Mayan city of Tulum.

The resort has 350 spacious rooms distributed over three low rise buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens. Each room is tastefully decorated and equipped with a balcony or private terrace, king-size bed or two doubles, sofa bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, direct dial phone, minibar, safe, and hairdryer. Hotel guests have a choice of five different restaurants, 2 bars and a disco. Golfers will enjoy the nearby 18-hole Playacar golf course. At the hotel itself provides three tennis as well as volleyball and basketball courts. The Hacienda will delight you with its a la carte dinner menu of sumptuous Mexican dishes, and the Gondola offers classical Italian food in an elegant setting. The all inclusive plan offers meals and snacks throughout the day and until midnight, as well as alcoholic beverages between 10 AM and 3 AM.
