The resort is located on a beautiful beach in the heart of the hotel zone, just a short distance from restaurants, shops and entertainment.

The airport is less than half an hour away and downtown Cancun is 20 minutes by bus or taxi.

All Superior quality rooms have an ocean or lagoon view, each is equipped with a king-size bed or two doubles, A/C, ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone, voicemail, safe, and a full bathroom. Connecting rooms, nonsmoking rooms, rooms with handicapped facilities, extra beds and cribs are subject to availability.

With its 5 restaurants, 4 bars and disco the Occidental Caribbean Village Cancun is a perfect place to vacation. It offers tennis and volleyball courts as well as an 18-hole championship golf course nearby. Guests can enjoy themselves in kayaks, canoes and sailboats while experienced divers will appreciate the PADI certified dive center where they can arrange to explore some of the spectacular coral reefs in the area. Their beach is equipped with thatched parasols, comfortable loungers and of course it has bar and restaurant service. Children 4-12 will especially enjoy the Kids Club with its organized activities just for them. There is also a gym, Jacuzzi, massage service and beauty salon. A nearby marina offers free shuttle service between the hotel and its facility.

Inside the hotel you´ll find car rental and travel agency, fax service, currency exchange, boutique and gift shop. It also offers banquet and meeting facilities for up to 200 people. An optional honeymoon package provides floral arrangements, American breakfast in bed plus a 10% discount for newlyweds. Babysitters can be arranged as well as laundry.

The resort offers the following restaurants: Calypso is the main eating place offering international buffet style meals; the Snack Bar open from 11:30 AM to 5 PM serves excellent light food; and the Firenze Restaurant provides a menu of Italian specialties, while La Troje serves authentic Mexican dishes a la carte in the evening; for something different, try dinner at Miranda´s specializing in Brazilian dishes.

The all-inclusive plan offers breakfast, lunch and buffet style or a la carte dinner as well as snacks, and unlimited alcoholic beverages from a select menu; Kids Club activities, as well as in-house organized activities and sports, use of the tennis courts and nonmotorized aquatic sports equipment, introductory scuba diving class, evening cabaret style shows organized by the hotel, use of the facilities in nearby selected Occidental hotels.
