The first course is 7,057 yards. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus and lies on the highest part of the club. This fantastic 18-hole par 72 includes many natural hazards and blends successfully the local vegetation and hills in a truly fantastic course.
The second course was designed by Tom Weiskopf, who uses all his knowledge along the 6,976 yards of this extreme course, with dense jungle, ravines and creeks to offer the golfer an incredible experience along the 18 holes, par 72.
Both courses have integrated the nature of Puerto Vallarta in their design and you will spend a great day walking along the fairways with the soft wind from the ocean and the great view of the city and famous Banderas Bay at your feet.
Located on the hills behind Puerto Vallarta Airport, between Puerto Vallarta downtown and Nuevo Vallarta, Vista Vallarta Golf Club can be accessed by taxi from any hotel along the bay. Downtown is 15 minutes by cab. The Vista Vallarta Golf Club hosted the 2002 World Golf Championship and the Puerto Vallarta Golf Classic Champions Tour tournament also. | |
