This challenging golf course was designed by Percy Clifford and received a total renovation for the World Cup Championship. The modernization was supervised by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the famous golf designer.
Along the 18-hole, you will find several hazards, including more than 65 sand bunkers. Each hole was designed with precision in mind and it is a challenge to achieve the par, even for the most professional golfer. As an example, the winning individual score for the World Cup Championship was just 3 under par.
Nature is present along the course, with large palm trees, rocks and many water hazards. The Championship tee is over 6,855 yards and regular tee is 5,197 yards.
The Fairmont Pierre Marques Golf Course also offers clubs rental (Taylor products) and shoes rental (Foot Joy products).
Located in the Fairmont Hotel and Resort in Acapulco, the Pierre Marques Golf Course faces Revolcadero beach and La Costera avenue. The Hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to this golf course and to the Fairmont Acapulco Princess Golf Course.
